Completed!!!!

Well, inspite of all that's going on I am accomplishing more this year than I did last year and the year before put together!

I completed the 6x6 spring break album today. It took longer than I anticipated as I kept getting interupted. Why do those boys keep calling me Mom and asking so many questions!? LOL

It feels good to be getting projects completed. I decided the beginning of the year after it was discussed on this group that I wanted to get pictures in albums more than creating "master pieces" for each and every LO. It has helped, I'ved simplified all my LO's. Occasionally I do one that is really complicated but I'm sticking with simple until I feel like I'm a bit more "caught up" than I am now.

I'll get the album uploaded in the next few days.

I have our trip to Dallas/Ft. Worth from last spring break that I think I will do the 8x8 sized. Tips?....Don't get caught up in perfection. I used a paper pack so the paper was already cordinated for me, that helped considerably. I think that's the only tip I can really give. Using a pack or slab that's already corridated really really helps cut down on the time spent trying to co-ordinate your paper.

It was good to get something done!! And the aggravations just laid in the back of my mind so it was nice to get rid of them of a while.

I finally got around to uploading the scans of this. It took me so long as I was trying to just take pictures, but that wasn't working out. Don't know why I decided I needed to try something different. As my Dad would say, "if it isn't broken, don't try to fix it!"

Anyway, the little album is under Memphis Zoo in my webshots account.

I liked your zoo book Kenda! You took some really nice pictures, and sometimes doing things simple is just the right way! I chuckled at the 'no butts about it' caption. Cute! Linda

What a cutebook. I have to admit that until I read the caption, I had to wonder why the elephant on the last page was sideways, LOL!

You took some really great pictures. I'd swear you were inside the cages on some of them. The butt pictures of the elephants is awesome. Nice job! Kathy

Great album, Kenda. Your photos are wonderful. You must have a good camera to get the close-ups and quality - postcard perfect. Thanks for sharing, Sandy

Thank you Linda! I have to credit the camera with the good pictures. I was suprised at how well the polar bear turned out, he was behind plexiglass. I loved the picture of the "butts" I couldn't resist the caption! LOL

I do have a great camera, it's not really expensive, as far as digital cameras go. It's a kodak Easyshare Z740, with 10x opital zoom. I have spent alot of time learning the different setting on it and I take ALOT of pictures, that way I'm sure to get a few good ones! That's why I love digital, you don't spend the money getting crummy pics developed. My DH took alot of time researching cameras before he bought me this one....he's the most for your money kinda guy!
