April Challenge Completed

Well I thought I'd share the work I've done over the last month.

Most of the pages in the Underhill Wedding Album were completed this month. I've still got to scrap the actual wedding, but it is coming along!

The Friends Altered Flip Book I did last week and have entered in a contest at our new LSS.

The final project which was completed over a two day period, my friend Janie made a similar one is shown here.

Just prior to the surgery at the end of March, I completed the first 6 months of a journal that I've been using. I don't think I've posted a link to it here before so I hope you'll enjoy taking alook.

I also completed an envelope book, which I have not uploaded. While I still have tons of work to do (lots and lots of unscrapped photos), I'm pleased that I completed all of the above in the last few weeks, despite everything that's been going on! I hope you enjoy seeing what I've been up to. I'm also preparing a couple of projects to offer at the Creating Keepsakes Convention where I've got the Top Line Creations booth. I'ts in Fort Lauderdale, the last weekend in June, so if you decide to go, please do drop in and see me!

Wow M-C you really got a lot accomplished this month. I really like the pages for the wedding book. The friends flip book, the hero book and the journal are really nice too. I love your style.

All great projects M-C. You definitely deserve to teach a class or win a contest with that kind of work.

Wow...you have managed to do lots of different things, LO's, Altered Journal, Flip Book, Hero Kit. Great work M-C :o) I see that you made good use of the DCWV Old World Stack in the Underhill album....isn't it just beautiful? I thought the rich colours were classy/exquisite for this album. Can I ask what sort of books/journals you buy to alter? Are they special or just standard stationery supply store purchases? The flip album is very sweet and could be used for a variety of different things. Thanks for sharing all your beautiful work :o)

Take care, Marilyn

M-C, The flip book is beautiful. I love the colors and what you did with the pages. Of course, all of your projects are great, but the flip book really caught my eye. Sandy

Thanks Cathy. Being able to scrap has been a great outlet. Plus it had been a while since I'd even accomplished one of my own challenges, LOL!

Thanks Lynne! I would just love to do that and I've had quite a few people ask me to teach classes in my home, so I will be doing that as well. It would just be nice to get back out there and also meet new people. I'm sure that I'll have an interesting time getting ready for CKC. I have to come up with something for the gift bags and a make-n-take and would actually like to tie the two together!

Really beautiful MC. You work is always great. I love your journal and the flip book. I could see myself having one with my boys pictures to sit on a desk. I'm with Marilyn. where do you get your books. Also, is the inside sheets hard cardstock or is it just thin paper. I might have to try your journal idea. I'm always carrying my calendar around. Thanks for sharing.

I completed my pages as well!!! I made my goal of 30, YEAH!!! I'll have to find the time to scan and upload the LO's. I stayed up until nearly mid-night to complete them, 'course I only had 5 to do. They aren't fancy but I decided that's okay, at least the pictures are on the pages for the family to see.

Thanks Marilyn! The Flip Book I did from Scratch with the book itself being from MM. They come with a very thin white paper in a acetate sleeve that is open on both sides. I ended up using a pretty clip on each page to keep the pages from sliding out. The Hero was a kit I bought at an LSS. It came with a book I've tried to find the name of it online, but I wasn't able too. Basically they are white chipboard and book bound in white.

Wow M-C!!! I took a look at what you've been working on while you've been laid up. I must say you've been one really BUSY lady! I am so impressed! You've done as usual a wonderful job on everything, they're all beautiful!

Wow MC! You've been able to get a lot done. WTG! Everything is just beautiful. I really really really like the Friends album. You should win, in my opinion. :-) The wedding album is coming along great. Some of the items look familiar, too. LOL
