OT: email again

Hi everybody, Hope Mother's Day finds you all happily quilting away with nary a care in the world.

I wanted to let everybody know that I'm not getting email. Apparently nothing but newsgroup lists is getting through and hasn't for nearly a week. I didn't really notice until Ebay started trying to contact me and couldn't. Ugh. Now I can't buy anything on ebay until my email is straightened out. Ebay/Email. Hmmmmm, there's humor in there somewhere but for the life of me I can't find it.

Anyhow, Happy dancing for the industrious ones, praying for those in need of such and rooting for everybody.

Careful there, Sunny. I don't know diddly about how to fix your email but I do know that what comes in here from Ebay is sneaky, devious spam. All manner of trash including messages that my account is about to be cancelled, a seller (or buyer) needs to contact me, my non-payment has been reported or someone wants to settle a grievance with me. All of these are absolutely impossible therefore highly suspicious. Polly

Ginger, dear girl, I appreciate your offer of help, LOL. Polly, I know all about the "phish" bait that floats into email. My problem is I want to buy something and can't because a glitch happened in my account that required a change in passwords and the email that has my confirmation in it for the new password is nowhere to be found. Nothing is coming into my email account except stuff coming from newsgroups and listserves. It's really weird and tomorrow first thing I'll call my ISP and raise a stink.

In the meantime, if anybody wants to email me, please do it as a message here.
