OT I am not sewing that wedding

True, with her her working at the big airport near Raleigh now, she probably has access to a much larger assortment of shops to choose from. Here there is but one, and that one only does custom dyes in lines with toe stops.

I went to google images and actually found pictures of women in blue bourkas. I showed them to DD3 on a lark, she just sighed and told me her sister would never let her get away with it.

I am thinking to put together a kimono/j-pop type thing for her for the rehersal. She would like it, and a little bribery could go a long way towards making her feel good about the whole thing.

I'm so tickled that you did get to go and that you could participate somewhat: ) Now, just let things 'happen' and sit back and enjoy them as they do. I'm thinking your DD is keeping you posted on all the goings on :) Keep yourself as 'healthy' as you can so you will be able to enjoy her day as much as humanly possible.

Giggle!

I once had a bridesmaid to dress who would far rather have been UNDER the table in her riding boots, playing with the dogs! She was very good and patient, but obviously suffering... Luckily she was only 10. her younger bro had to wear a really cute light blue chocolate box soldier outfit with a sash to match her dress. I kept telling her she had the better deal!

*HE* was much better at the dressing up in the posh frockery that she was.

Thank you Butterfly. It's just not how I imagined it. But we'll deal with it.
