OT - I've had enough

of the sniping and snarling and continuing beating a topic to death.

I'm stressed beyond belief at work with a boss who is struggling to do her job and taking it out on those around her. it's caused one resignation already and mine is more than likely to come at the end of the year when my contract is up. I'm even applying for full-time jobs to get away from her. I come to RCTQ to relax, catch up with loving friends and just chill out.

Over the past few days I've actually stopped reading because of "that" situation. I feel sorry for all parties concerned but especially for Connie. What must she feel like?

So I'm leaving, temporarily at the moment - in a weeks time we are all off to Fiji for a well earned break. With any luck the group will be back to the same loving family and the squabbles will all be behind us. If not, well, I just don't know.

I do know that my HUGS for the Katrina victims left Australia yesterday amongst a whole pile of other goodies.

So rest easy, try to stop squibbling and just remember - Hugs are given freely. They should be full of love and caring and kindness. They are unconditional. There are no strings attached. No return clauses. No use by dates.

Sharon, I'm with you. I have had enough. The next time I hear somebody wail and squall that they have "lost everything" when all they've lost is "stuff", I am going to kick them in the fanny. Watch for a film clip of that on tonight's news. Polly

Sigh, all I lost was my mind. :) You may save your butt kicking tho, I'm sure I can get someone less busy to serve. Your posts give us a perspective that the media just isnt able to give. Thank you for that. Diana

{{{Hugs}}} to you, Sharon! Good luck dealing with your boss -- and even better luck in landing something else that will be less stressful. I've given up reading about the "situation" and am -- like you -- hoping that things will calm down quickly.

Have a wonderful holiday in Fiji! That sounds absolutely lovely, and I wish I could join you.

Bless your heart, I hope you have a wonderful trip and land a better job quickly. Things will be better when you get back, and if anyone annoys you, remember the killfile. I usually can bring folks back eventually but the reprieve from tantrums is beneficial.
