OK, nice stuff, really cute, but this isn't the place to sell it, OK?

In case that wasn't a blatant commercial post and you were just posting so you could get some feedback on your websight, I'll help you with that too. IT SUCKS.

you open up to a page that tells absolutely nothing about you, just shows some tiny pictures with no detail of the little cutesy items you sell thru pay pal. and if i want 50 of them I have no way of getting ahold of you to negotiate, and if I pay by pay Pal, I have no way oc contacting you if the deal goes sour, or is that your intent? You get my money thru PayPal, and I get nothing, no info about you, where you are or what your phone number is.

Your major concern is right there, the MONEY, get it and so what. Are you a crook? are you in China? Singapore? Viet Nam? Canada? where are you and how much is the shipping? I need 50 for corproate gifts for Butterflys,Inc, love your work but can't get in touch with you. Oh well,

Just in case you wondered, and sell it elsewhere, everybody here already makes that stuff, and more!

No, you're absolutely right. But that doesn't mean you don't need a day off, haven't had too much coffee, or caught some fish recently.

Sure you're right, but Spammers almost never read any responses on an NG anyway. They usually use a program that simply cross posts all over the place. Repeat after me.... "There's No Place Like Home..... There's No Place Like Home...... "

That's why I pick and chose which spammers I comment to! I have a pretty good "response rate" I think, if I go back and read 'em, but the darndest thing happens, they don't hang around and post anything useful either. Like what little tricks they use to produce the stuff they sell( get it made in China), or where to get the glass to repair some of those cute little "slider bombers",China ,( you know, what the cutesys do when the suction cup lets go on the sliding door, bombs yer toes!)

Wish they would hang around and become productive members of the group, maybe they could hang out and discuss the pros and cons of plaster in a cement formula, er something useful.

Got carried away there, its Monday....

Oddly enough, my wife got three of these five or six years ago, and they've been on our patio door (the sliding part) ever since. I suspect the glass has flowed around them, anchoring them in place, since I can't imagine how those cheesy little suction cups can still be holding on.

I thought it was spam, too. I don't think it was just the untargeted stuff, though--it didn't show up in any other groups that I noticed....

To keep the stupid suction cups in place, just add a dot of superglue. I kid you not. I do a lot of really small stuff (yes, grains of sand CAN be successfully foiled and soldered in place) and asked my first instructor what to do about it....she suggested superglue to keep the cup in place. It works and, if you want to move it, you just buy a new cup and razor blade the old one off the window, no problems.
