Stained Glass Wildflower Patterns

Feb 28, 2006 0 Replies

Author & artist Gina Mohammed has created a whimsical series of 25 stained glass wildflower patterns which she calls The Northern Wildflowers Collection. The collection includes favourites like the Black-eyed Susan, Dutchman's Breeches, Water Lily, and White Trillium, along with a few exotics like the Pale Corydalis and Calypso (Fairy Slipper) Orchid.

The wildflower patterns are aimed at stained glass artisans, but they can be adapted easily for use as quilt patterns too. "They're caricatures of the plants," says Mohammed. "I tried to capture their most interesting features."

The Northern Wildflowers Collection is published electronically by Candlenut Books. Individual wildflower patterns are offered for sale on-line (for only $2.95 each) at the Rainbowcraft Stained Glass Art web site
