Got this email and don't know if this is true: REMINDER....8 days from today, all cell phone numbers are being released to telemarketing companies and you will start to receive salescalls.

.....YOU WILL BE CHARGED FOR THESE CALLS

To prevent this, call the following number from your cell phone:

888-382-1222

It is the National DO NOT CALL list. It will only take a minute of your time. It blocks your number for five (5) years. You must call from the cell phone number you want to have blocked. You cannot call from a different phone number.

HELP OTHERS BY PASSING THIS ON TO ALL YOUR FRIENDS. It takes about 20 seconds.

18 months ago; this issue has been under much debate & discussion since then, so it's still good to check w/ the DNCall Registry for the latest:

I thought so but now its verified. I got 2 of them in one day from friends and wondered about the message so thanks!!!!!!!

Here's how you know it's not true. You don't even have to check with Snopes - if it says to forward it to everyone you know, it's a lie just throw it in the trash like the junk mail it is.
