New Project

Jul 27, 2007 7 Replies

I have started a new project, I will make quilts for all the babies in our church. That will help reduce my stash and I can easily quilt the smaller quilts on my own machine. So far I have made two and delivered them. I have four more to make (for now, lots of young people in our church ;) ), two of them are from a bigger top that I took apart. It was meant to become a quilt for the VJGC but they decided to switch from quilts to fleece blankets because they are easier to clean. I hope I can keep my wits together during our house buying and moving experience to continue with this project. You can see the first two quilts here: >

They're lovely, Maria. What an ambitious, but lovely, project you have in mind. Hope it all goes well. Hope you don't get a baby boom! . In message , Maria in NC writes

What lovely quilts! I just love blue and yellow! What is there about that combination that makes it so appealing? (2 L's or one?)
