I finished up the TV quilt for my daughter just in time to get it in our guild show, and pop it in a suitcase to take to Denver. Here's a shot of the front.

I found after I had all the blocks made that I didn't like the bright golds so those two fabrics got relegated to the back.

2 corners have pockets for sticking your toes in so it stays in place while you watch TV.

The pattern is from Fat Quarter Quilts by M'lissa Ray Hawley.

Beautiful - and I really like the idea of pockets for chilly feet; a nice variation on a quillow. . In message , kratersge writes

I wish I'd known about toe pockets when I made denim tv throws for all the grands. They would have loved it. Polly

Very nice Susan. My current project is from that same book, but I used a much simpler pattern, Houndstooth, and my leftovers will be going on the back too. Mine is for DN who is expecting a boy, due next month. This is the DN that lost both of her parents 5 years ago.

That's pretty cool, good job. Dancing in the moonlight for ya, Susan!

That's really lovely, Susan! What a beautiful TV quilt -- and the foot pockets are a brilliant idea. :)
