Dear Michelle tookit upon herself to work with the photo of Elzady, my great-granny --and she did such an incredible job! She no longer looks "scary" but alovely woman in front of a lovely quilt. Thank you, Michelle!

Thank you all for your nice comments. I've been working on my own family genealogy and restoring our old pictures for years. I usually do them in a sepia tone, but, I've started coloring some of them and it is amazing how suddenly they look like flesh and blood people, not just ghosts from the past. I guess because I do genealogy and learn about these people's lives, I just hate to see them go through eternity looking awful because the cameras of the day made them look that way. Anyway, after years of working on my family's pictures, my kids talked me into starting a small business, in my home, of restoring photos. Gosh, I don't want to seem like I'm advertising, and I'm not; but, I have a website, that still needs a lot of work, where you can see more of what I do. It's
