According to the doctors, Mom is doing better than anyone could have predicted. Her kidney functions have returned to normal and according to the latest tests, her circulation is better than it's been in months. She's still got multiple, very serious problems, but it's been quite a change from send her home with hospice care - she's only got a few weeks at most - to where she is now - getting a bit stronger each day.
She is still very frail, and we do understand that any one of her problems could suddenly turn fatal, but there is so much more hope now. Her spirits are up also. She was supposed to leave the rehab center last Friday, and was pretty depressed when the doctors advised she spend another week until my sister explained that it was because they thought now she could do more than they originally anticipated.
