highest allowable in wellington is 22 metres, resource consent approved for 27 metre height building, that is 5 mts aka 23% higher. highest allowable in auckland is 10 mts, resource consent approved for 16.5 metre poles. that is 6.5 mts aka 65% higher.so we are not alone on this type of thing. now we sit with our 'speaker of the house' with same problem she objects to. i hope she gets her appeal considered before the building goes up or like us she'll be jumping thru hoops to fix the problem on a larger scale but her position might give her an added advantage.
