I just bought his cd, having seen his bits from Britain's got talent on YouTube. I love Simon's response... "So, you sell cellular phones, and you can do *that*!" I get chills every time I hear it. Talk about a rags to riches tale, and well deserved.

I watched the original. I liked the looks that passed between the judges before he started to sing. You could just feel the 'Oh dear, another one' thoughts. Then watching their faces change and the audience's applause after only a few seconds. That was the moment a star was born.
Not long now until his big prize - singing in front of the Queen at the Royal Variety Performance in, I think, December.

An earlier post didn't show up so I'll try again! Paul was showcased on the early am tv news last week - he said in the interview that his most memorable time since the competition was singing for Pavarotti shortly before his death. Jennellh
