OT: sort of.....

I'm working on several quilts, near finishing a couple small projects and getting ready to quilt my bedsized quilt. I'm miserable. The last few days have been horrible -- in no really concrete way -- and I just feel horrid and can't seem to get any traction. There is no point to this post except to say I suspect I'm diving into another deep flare of my lupus without really coming completely out of the last one. The side of my face, still purple and blue from temple to chin from the Christmas Day fall, looks better but now with the swelling gone it's fairly obvious that I cracked my jaw bone a bit. Going to the dentist next week. And tomorrow is the annual "well woman" checkup and boy and I lookiing forward to that !! (not) Just grumping. Thanks for listening. You have now spared my household from one more grump.

I'll post pics when I get this next piece finished. It's a doll quilt for a little girl. I think it turned out really pretty. Just have to bind it. I've got a lot of little pieces I've f inished. A table topper, a centerpiece for a little table, two miniature quilts and now this doll quilt. Oh, and one lap quilt I sent off but didn't take a pic of. I haven't done anything really artistic in a while, but I have finished these over the past few months and decided that while they're very boring and not terribly well executed I'll post pics in the next few days.

Hugs and thanks for the shoulder, Sunny

gosh, Sunny. You need to figure out what you really want to do today, be it a spa massage, a tanning booth, or somethin. You need some pampering. Sorry you're feeling so bad

I strongly recommend a pedicure. A dear friend treated me to my very first, a couple of months ago. We sat in massage recliners while a couple of experts massaged our feet and lower legs, disappeared all rough places, and turned our every-day tootsies into jewels. Took about 40 minutes, and we were walking on air afterwards. My toes still look pretty good :-) Roberta in D

Ahhhh...yes!! a "mannie" and a "peddie" are by far the BEST pampering i can think of!! How about a whole spa day?

i just love mud on my face!!!

Hugs and smiles to all for the kind words. I think a day spa would be the very thing! I'm putting it high on my list.

In the meantime, think I'll fondle some nice fabric.
