OT update

DH didn't get the job we were hoping for and seemed so promising. My DM isn't doing well. She is in renal failure with a no dialysis order and has an infection that caused her temp to spike near 105. Only if she can get back to walking with a walker she will get to go home. To add to the uncertainty, we found out today that the hotel we manage may have been sold. We should know more on that next week. So we keep moving on and looking for another position and sorting "stuff" and downsizing. TIA for prayers and good thoughts.

So sorry, Mary. I do hope your DM gets effective treatment for the current acute problem, and then something which will keep her stable for the long-term problem. Your poor mind must feel like jelly with all this going on and whirling around in it. Do take care of yourself/ves. Might not a sale of your hotel work to your advantage? The new owners might be infinitely better? That doesn't help your mother of course, but might help the overall family situation? . In message , maryd writes

Prayers and well wishes for your mom and DH coming your way! Keep the faith, things sometimes happen for a reason. maybe the new owners will appreciate you more.

I will be praying for your entire situation. It's been my experience that when things look their bleakest and everything negative seems to be happening at once, it's God working in the background and a change in my life is going on that will be a good one in the long run. I will be praying that the new "season" in your life will be a tremendous blessing, and that your DM will get well quickly.

If this hotel does sell, the new owners could be better but they could also decide to be owner/managers and live in the apartment. Until we found something else, that would not be good.

All will work out for the best in the end. I have faith in that.
