First off I'm still at AC Moore but in a different department.
The woman who I was working with told the managers that I "had no talent, unprofessional, lacked creativity, and wrong for the job." So I was called into the office with an ultimatium "leave AC Moore and come back in January to interview for a teaching position OR stay on but as a merchandiser for the floral department." No brainer.
Which is why I am now the floral department merchandiser.
The woman has since been reprimanded and docked two weeks pay and two days vacation for "falsifying employee records." Which happened when I brought in my greeting cards and scrapbooks for the other employees to see. The General Manager saw them and was surprised to find out the work was mine.
She also went back to her home store in Boston so hopefully I'll never see her jealous face again.
I have since learned to enjoy the floral department ( have a really decent manager) and hopefully come January they will keep to their promise that I can teach classes.
