OT Wahoo! It is raining money!

Oh my gosh! What a great day this has been for you. Take a deep breath & remember to leave enough money to treat yourself to something special! (Maybe today would have been a good day to buy a lottery ticket:)) I'm very happy for your family.

Wow! We were all sending you positive thoughts, and look what happens! May all your wishes be fulfilled (definitely enough for some killer boots IMO!) Roberta in D

Hey keep thinking!

Today brought more money! A totally out of the blue infusion of cash from one of DH's conjure clients. Apparently she has taken to flinging a fiver in a jar whenever he gives advice or does problem solving for her that she considers important, but he says he doesn't need extra payment for (they have a retainer system going). Last week she dumped out the jar, turned the fives into hundreds and sent it to us.

I am getting my new cookstove! And I am so ordering the boots!

You know I have never bought a lottery ticket in my life? Save for once or twice chucking a dollar into the ticket pool when I was at one of the factories.

I reckon everybody was trying to get their buisness cleared before next week. And of course the crazy lady probably didn't want our local sheriff's office to value her Rolls (or whatever) at just under $5k, and give it to me. (G)

Of course, putting a bit aside for the inevitable drought is a good idea, but we can hope it keeps up a bit of a drizzle all winter long :-) Roberta in D

Howdy!

Replying here to Patti (in Seattle)'s note, as it contains her current addy. I bet she's busy meeting new dogs. And baking canine cookies.

Best wishes, Patti! Love to hear from you!

R/Sandy--noting that Patti posted on Jan.15, too
