OT-Will be away for a bit

My DGD graduates from college (Old Dominion U. in VA) this coming weekend!! Seems like she was just born a few years ago!!! DH and I and one of our QIs will be making a quickie trip (?) down in a day or so. Don't plan on any stash raids, gals, unless ya wanta run into my 25 y.o. DS and some of his buds who'll be house sitting for us (note LOUD music - garage band type - will deafen you within minutes of locating my stash!) Hoping I get the directory safely before we head out (so I can safely save it on a backup disc - just in case DS boggles up the computer!) Back next week. ME-Judy

Her graduation is on Saturday. No, I don't think I've got your phone #. Hopefully we can get back down there again soon. Would love to "shop hop". As it is, we'll get there late on Fri. (graduation & party on Saturday), and leave for home Tues. a.m. - so won't have time to do much besides visit with DD and her kids and an old neighbor from when we lived down there (courtesy of the U.S.N.). [and one day allocated to a must-do (according to DH!) trip to the Williamsburg Pottery area!] We've got the "travel bug" for some reason this year!!! Will let you VA'ers know when we head south again!

Please ask the weatherman for warm & sunny days! This April we had only 6 days of sunshine! The rest were either snowy, rainy (including the Patriots Day Storm), or just icky. Temps never got above 60* but one day.

HEY!! Next round of Green Valley starts on May 12th....I live just off Rt 64....have been there once and spent WAY too much...planning on going again with a friend and both of our young daughters - that will limit the time we actually have to get in, shop, and get out before they get hungry and miserable :-) Let me know when you are heading this way and we can try a meet up or something...there's a smaller quilt shop right near me and another one in Staunton
