Pat in VA

I've just heard from our Pat in VA. She (and Phoebe, her new Pfaff) is safe and sound post-Irene. Her house had no damage, other than pinecones and branches to be raked, and it seems she once again has internet service. She wanted me to tell everyone that she's okay. :)
