Just wanted you to be ready for two of my favorite days; St Patrick's and ta-dah!, the 18th of March. Never in the recorded history of the world has the Swamp had a freeze on or after March 18th. I am so ready to wear green and plant something green. Oh my, I am. Polly

LOL Polly O'Esther. As long as that furniture isn't afar it is good. After all the yard work I need to do some sitting. Spring is sprung all over here. This week our last frost day too. It is a wonderful time of year. Taria

Must be nice! We wait for May 24 to plant gardens here. Then hold our breath hoping that we don't get a killing frost after things start to sprout. it's not unusual for us to have a major snow storm at the end of May, and the only month that is relatively safe from frost is July and even July probably has some on record. I know in the past I've lost the majority of my garden the first week of August.

Somehow we still manage to grow stuff tho.

For me March is the end of the -30 C (-22 F) weather. Still some major snow storms to come but the REALLY cold stuff should be done!

Marilyn in spring is coming Alberta, Canada
