While things are so tense,I've just played with my fabric. When I try anything serious, I justmess up. So I posted pics of the things I made while messing around. The first is the first doll I've made. She's not stuffed very well, but then again, she's a first. I did her face freehand with the sewingmachine. Same on the other face. I'm thinking I'll put a bit morecolor into the girl's face (not the mermaid) and turn her into ajournal cover. What do you think? Sunny

Sunny,

I'm glad to see you having some fun! I think the girl's face will make a wonderful journal cover. The mermaid it cute, too. What will you do with her?

good idea - a little more color and then put her on the cover of a journal. Nice. Musicmaker

Thanks for the sweet words. Sandy, I can't draw a straight line either. And I can't draw a human face. I have no idea where she came from, but somehow when I'm moving fabric under the sewing machine, everything changes. I'm wondering if it's not because I use BOTH hands when I'm working with the machine rather than must my right hand. I was born a lefty, but my first grade teacher tied my left hand behind me every morning and forced me to become a righty. Maybe that's why I feel so whole when I'm sewing?

Gosh Sunny, you are an artist with fabric! If this is what you turn out when just 'messing' around....whew, it must be something to see when you get serious!!! lol Great job! Donna
