I still need to put the steeple on the church. A lot of those blank hills will get occluded by the next piece, a barn with a big windmill.

Oh, that's coming on a treat Susan. What fun it all looks. It's going to make a fantastic panorama quilt - most unusual. I love the brightness of it all. Thanks for showing us. . In message , kratersge writes

I would love to see it, but I'm getting a "forbidden access" message and a blank screen when I try your link. Help?

Don't know what the problem is; here's a link to the album. I signed out of webshots and it still let me see it, so I think it should work...

Susan that's incredible. Where did you find the pattern? I really love the whole scene. How large is it? And, thank you for posting a link I can use. I wouldn't have wanted to miss seeing that.

Yes, that and the train. Where'd it come from and is it appliqu=E9d or what? I try to keep an eye out for train prints but I missed that one if that's what it is.

The pattern is from Piecemakers. They put out one "calendar quilt" pattern each year. The train quilt is year 2000. They also sell images for printing the trains on an inkjet.
