Puzzle quilt patterns

Did anyone who went to the Houston Quilt show remember seeing a booth with "Puzzle Quilt Patterns"? I was told she had a website and I wanted to order some of her patterns. Can someone help me? Please

The one I have is where you sew several squares together and then you cut it up and resew. When you do the quilt is complete with with borders. She also has about five other patterns, as I recall one is even a log cabin.

both Pati and I wracked our collective brain and tried various quilters who do various quilts that have a puzzle appearance but just cant find one that works as you've described. already has a border when finished resewing the cut up sqs, eh, hmmm. so what does the finished product look like? i've made one i call a bi-sected floating 9 patch....sew an odd sized 9 patch, cut thru the middle both ways, turn two opposite pieces a half turn, resew and a new block appears but it doesnt have a built in border on it when done. iim flummoxed and fascinated by the concept so any more description will keep me looking. cheers, jeanne

This book by Martha Thompson does what you describe - assemble plain squares with a border, cut up (on odd angles) and reassemble. It is a revised edition of a book first put out about 10 years ago

I hope I am doing this right. Here is an attachment with some of the quilts we did and also a copy of the pattern.

Howdy!

Please don't attach folders or pictures here to the newsgroup. No offense intended, just a reminder.

(iMac shut down the post & the ng when I automatically came to that post. Whew!)

Puzzle Quilt patterns were at The Cott> >

It's a nice book with some intriguing patterns, but it is not the one Hannah is looking for unfortunately.
