Howdy!
By the time Karen & I placed our orders, the Queens on black background were gone-gone-gone. I've told Karen the Q-of-Q is available on olive-green background at Karen's Quilt & Bead Shop
Cheers! R/Sandy

I think I'm coming into this one late. Exactly what are you quilters up to? Where is this Q-of-Q going? Since I'm usually doing Peter Rabbit and Superman, at least share with us what the grownup quilters are doing. Polly

Howdy!
Karen started it!

Yes, Karen started it because Karen signed up for a swap on another group. An ABC swap where they wanted me to take Q because I'm Queen of Squishies. Okay, I'm game. But finding queen fabric was proving tricky. So I asked here, and now have 3 yds. of blue background Queen of Quilts playing cards on the way! : )

You are *SO* right, Sandy. Leslie has just, in the past half hour, given me an idea to get me out of a *huge* pickle. Thanks Leslie. Pity quilters don't rule the world. Oh boy, and how! . In message , Sandy Ellison writes
Karen!! I'm so sorry, I actually have this fabric stashed away. Had I been more coherent I would have yanked it and sent it to you!
It's certainly not too late, Larisa. I did buy some, but not as much as I wanted. Stores won't trade goods these days, the seem to want MONEY. grin. I would love to trade you for the queen of quilts fabric. What are you needing that I might have? Catch me on IM.
Karen, Queen of Squishies
OK, let me get through this weekend....Mother is here and we have cantata tomorrow morning. Once she heads back home, I can get back into the sewing room and pull things out. As soon as I get that taken care of, I should be able to figure out what I might be needing to swap, AND I can pull out the Queen of Quilts fabric. I was going to put it in my personal quilt, but after I've had a chance to go through everything, I have *way* too much oddball fabrics to put in it.
Larisa
I have the same problem around here, LOL! If I tried to put all my personal favorites into one quilt for ME, I would have to call it a quilted tent. hmm.... a hideaway place........ hmm....
Karen, Queen of Squishies Thanks Larisa!
