Quilt blocks and SNOW!

Okay, yes, we had snow today. Yes, we really, really did. SNOW! At least three weeks earlier than usual. I'm not in the right mindset yet for piles of the white stuff. Not yet. I've begun working on thinking about placing the thought in my head, but not yet. Polly, what we really need is for you to send some Hurrican tie-downs up our way. It's that time of the year but the strong winds blowing down off the glaciers and other valleys still catches us by surprise. The wind actually pushed my car sideways partially into the other lane on the way home on Friday. Good thing no one was beside me. Anyways . . .

I did get some sewing done this weekend. Mostly detail stitching again on my Baltimore blocks. Only one to go and then I can piece the top. Here is the link

Steven:

I'm so sorry to hear about the snow but your blocks are BEAUTIFUL. If you want to get outta town, you and Bert are more than welcome to come visit me while the temps are in the 60's and 70's and you could teach me how to make those blocks. They are just fantastic.

Steven, your blocks are beautiful. I am also making a Baltimore blocks quilt. i have 4 blocks done. they are quite large (about 18"sq) and in Batiks. my camera is packed, but i hope to upload some pics when the move is complete.

the weather is certainly not co-operating! we usually have a warm Indian summer about now, however, the rain here has created flash flooding and cold temps. 45-50F. i even had to get out my sweaters!

I suppose i'll have to put them away when we get into Arizona and California!!!
