quilt pictures!

Dear All,

I have emerged from my self-imposed graduate student hibernation and have posted pictures of another baby quilt. Completed _before_ the hibernation began.

The last row of pictures is the new quilt.

The navigation bar that appears once you click onto a picture seems to be busted. It works some of the time. If you start on the leftmost picture in the last row you can see all the pics of the new quilt. will sort out the navigation when I am more awake.

The baby will love that bright and almost tactile quilt!

How long will you be staying 'emerged'? Or, is that it, finished now? . In message , Elizabeth Young writes

WOW! That is a beautiful quilt...I like the wave pattern in the quilting also...ties it all together...so to speak. Show and tell was always my favorite part of school...and now it is just about my favorite part of quilting. I just need to get some pictures online to share. Thanks for sharing yours.

Liz,

It's good to see you - welcome back (at least temporarily) from hibernation. The quilt is terrific. I love the bright colors, and I'll bet baby does too!

Howdy!

ooooo---Cool! Very cool! Lucky baby.

So, Liz, what's up w/ the student stuff? How much longer? ..not that there's a rush, not on my side, but just wondering....

Welcome back!

Well, Sandy and Patti (to answer the perennial question) I'm almost done w/ the grad student thing. "just" need to write a thesis (begin that in Fall) and then I'll finally have a MA in Liberal Arts. I'm hoping I can keep up with the list when the semester begins again in September. I ought to have a quilt to talk about in the meantime: am contemplating a stack and whack pinwheel quilt for my sort-of stepson's going to college present.

And thanks! everyone for the kind comments. I do like bright colors - but this next one will be brown and blue and green. I think.
