I have both Alliance and Horde characters, but I do love the Alliance ones! And yes, I have trained my worg pup to "mark" all the tree elves. ;-D

I did think of you guys on TLAP, but a migraine prevented me from celebrating (other than wearing one of my pirate shirts and drinking from a piratical mug)

I'm new to all of this. I live in Woodstock Georgia. I have made two baby quilts. But I'm falling in love with quilting. I spend most of my time doing machine embroidery. Which is my real passion. That and collecting fabric. I love sewing baby items. I love babies. My baby days are passed so I sew for the internet selling my items on ebay. My three children are near grown. I have a 23 yo daughter with my first granddaughter, a 16 yo daughter and a 13 yo son. I have 3 cats and a teacup chihuahua. Sophie, my chihuahua, sits in my lap as I sew. She weighs just under three pounds so she snuggles up in one of the many blankets I've made her and sews with me. She periodically nudges my arm or side to let me know she needs a scratch or a loving rub. She is a sweetheart! I'm married to a wonderful man that is a computer programmer. He owns a business here in Atlanta writing anestesia billing software with a very close friend. I'm a devout Christian and believe that all things are for the glory of God. Without Him we are nothing. I love the preacher Joel Osteen. His ministry has helped me through my anxiety and depression. God has really blessed him with the gift of teaching His word. If anyone is interested in a really good daily devotional, checkout JoelOsteen.com it is very uplifting and free!! You'll be amazed at how many times the devotional will feel as though God is speaking to you through Joel's words that day!

Ok... enough of my ramblings! But before I end, I'd like to thank everyone in this group for the welcoming feeling you've all given me. You're all a blessing and been very kind. It's refreshing to have a group like this!

Sounds like me. What machine do you use for embroidery? I have both the Designer1 and Babylock Ellageo. I embroider on the Ellageo--love that machine. Try embroidered quilt blocks for a quilt--fun. Are you going to the American Embroidery Convention in Marietta, GA in March? Gen

Um, did I miss something here?? I read the whole thing and love the descriptions of the pets and such, but this made me pull up short and re-read everything to make sure I didn't make a mistake....

Are you okay? Can I do anything for you??

I'm so glad this came up! i'm a newbie and to read about everyone was not only informative, but fascinating.

My name is Amy, 49 yrs young, and i live in Central New York with my DD Liz and my QI Cricket, Cricket is a Springer spaniel/retriever mix, she follows me everywhere and "helps"me sew. Have been sewing and quilting since i was 13 or so. I learned from my beloved Granny from West Virginia (may she rest in peace). i have 2 kids. DS-Jimi is 25 and a former Marine of 8 yrs, he now lives in Los Angeles with his fiance, Deseray, and works for a Communications Company, and my DD Liz who is 19 and lives with me, goes to college and is the best DD ever! i am divorced twice, and will NEVER do that again, life is better in the single lane. i guess i'm one of those people who should not marry, i like my way too much, and i always pick the "wrong" guy. Ah, well..... i work for a surgeon, (primadonna....anyone in the medical field will attest..) it's ok i guess...i've been here for 15 yrs. cant be all bad!!! i currently have my house up for sale, as i want to move nearer to the DS,( DD will come too when school is done.) i also love gardening, birdwatching, cooking and baking, my motto is: "Chocolate is a food group...because i said so.." you can see my profile at Facebook, and i also have a MySpace. (my kids insisted) i love to travel and meet new people. this thread is really great! Amy
