Oh Connie, how terrific to 'see' you. So, you finally found where the barge brakes were, did you >g< It's been years since I was over there in Worcester with you. You must have some tales to tell of your adventures. I hope you'll write a saga ...

Where have you landed, then? And are you both well. Do hope so. . In message , Connie Dee writes

Well Pammie me love, only you could bring me back to RCTQ! LOL

A little bird (actually, more like a BUTTERFLY) told me you had NOT SUNK at the bottom of the Atlantic and in fact had survived countless storms and hurricanes in your royal barge. I must say, "pleased" to hear you are still circumnavigating the globe is definitely an understatement.

I too have been trying to steal you from 'Erbert, hmmm, I mean contact you over the past years. I have SO much to tell you.

So do yourself a favour and EMAIL me! Before you go back to sea! Anyway, why are you in dry dock in summer? The heat over there get you. Yeah right. Heat? You English don't know heat!!!

Anyway, nice to hear from you. Do email me one day. I'm still at yahoo!

And nice to see a few others I remember. Shirley, Pat on the Hill, Tutu, Sandy, Helen, Ginger and Roberta. I does remember ya all!

Now, so this isn't Off-Topic, I haven't quilted in a few years (since me darling MSM passed away almost two years ago - lost interest in many things actually) but am starting to get the bug again! However, there is good news - we have had an addition to the family. We have a boy now. Well, a QI, but he's so cute, we're thinking of putting him in the will!

That's the quick version update for now. Do think of all my RCTQ friends. Hope you're quilting and getting on just fine!

Hugs,

John (aka Bradley) Armidale NSW Australia

Lovely to see you too John. How is the beaded needle case holding up?

Not done much of anything in the last 18 months. My heart problems have been rearing their ugly head and I have been rushed into hospital 5 times during that time. The last time 2 weeks ago. Leaking valve, ectopic heart beats, AF, and bundle branch block. All this on top of bypass and 6 stents in previous years.

Last September I started with pains in back and legs. Could be just old age and trapped sciatica nerve. Had a MRI scan last week, hoping to get the results this week. If it needs surgery it will be, will my heart be up to it. So just taking each day as it comes. Hugs Shirley
