A lady decided she no longer wanted to quilt and wanted to just GET RID OF IT. It is all of a very high quality quilt shop kind of fabrics. She never bought from WalMart or the like, only from Quilt Shops.

I feel like a million bucks!! and I only spent $36 !!!

Great job, KK, I get most of my material at yard sales. Many people start a hobby and decide they don't want to continue after a while. Most of my hauls have been very nice quality, ocasionally there's a piece that's thin or flimsy, but for the most part, there are lots of bargains out there when you really look hard. Sounds like you got some very nice pieces. What fun.

I am so envious! I got "three bags of fabric" from freecycle.com that ended up being scraps of upholstery fabric, double-knits from the 70s, and scraps of the smelliest, ugliest cotton-polyester fabric you could imagine. I want to go to your yard sale!

Wow! What a great haul -- made even better by the wonderful price you got! :)

Hot dog and yeeee-ha. You lucky rascal. Polly

Yayee! What fun! I just got back from Goodwill. They had a bunch of fabric fat quarters and half yards. They were marked $1.99 no matter how big the piece of fabric. I looked through them all, but didn't buy any. I like the deal you got much better.

Did you find this listed as a yard sale with quilting material? Or just got super lucky when you drove up and saw the material? I try to go to ones with fabric, but they are usual just big things of polyester or some old yucky stuff that the owner thinks is worth a lot of money.

Good for you, Enjoy and know we are all happy for you!!

Wowee! Well done! Oh to find places like that down here.....
