The kitchen we tore out in the Spring was from 1947, before refrigeration, and when only mum needed to be in the kitchen. I might be single, but I want a friend or two to be able to join me. Sure, at some point it will look dated, but it is white, so how bad can it be? The tiles were probably never fashion, probably never will be, but I love them, and lots of friends have commented how they really like them too. My dad hates them, 'cause he had to put them up...
