I've just been to a US site to purchase a 'gadget'. I've never seen them in UK, so as it seems 'just what I want' and should be light to post, I thought I'd present it to myself.
They suggest I get it shipped through a 'Get and American Address' things called BONGO. I've never heard or seen anything about this method. Has anybody here? Are they legit?
It's a bona fide shop site, and the product was advertised in a national magazine, so I have no qualms about that, but this, 'give you a spurious address to send things via' seems a bit weird. OTOH, if it worls and can be used for all sorts of things, there could be great savings to be made.
Somehow the US seem to allow all sorts of things you would never see around here.
