A couple weeks ago I asked if anybody knew how to get the contents of a spray can of starch out of the can. Turns out my DH was the one who knew, and it was he who actually got something out of a can for me, many years ago LOL. (good grief, senior moments again). I ended up spraying the entire contents into a glass measuring cup. Had to do it in three of four sessions, waiting for the foam to subside inbetween sessions. I then was able to pour it from the measuring cuup into the plastic non-aerosol spray bottle.
DH told me the trick to getting it out of the can is to turn the can upside down and push the spray button until all the aerosol is gone. Then you carefully poke a hole into the bottom of the can (he says carefully because there may be a tiny bit of aerosol left in there) to release the pressure, then the hole can be made larger to allow empyting the contents into another container.
I realize that making my own starch would be the simplest (and cheapest) way to go, but I happen to like the "fresh linen scent" of the Niagra.
Mickie, picky, picky, picky, yes, but if I don't spoil me, who will?!?
