T-shirt quilt on TV show

formatting link

You can view a clip and see the quilt. There's a link at the lower right. I can't say I liked the comment about a quilt being a girly thing, but the comment is consistent with the character. Wonder if there will be a sudden interest in T-shirt quilts. And I just noticed there is a double-wedding ring quilt on the back of a couch in another scene. I'm curious to know what made the producers use quilts in this show.

Well I have to pipe in here. I saw this show with my husband and 13 year old son and they BOTH want me to clean out their closets and make them one!! LOL!! Until the final scene where the guy in this show says.. "AHHHHHH MY WOOBY".. Clearly LOVING HIS quilt and memories of his tshirts, my men thought quilts were just for women too :) It's a guy thing. OK OK Let me clarify. It's a 80% guy thing probably.

We have an oldies event every summer in Sparks and Reno. It's called "Hot August Nights." Socks hops and old cars and that-old-time-rock-n-roll. Of course there are always several commemorative T-shirts. I've been wearing my T-shirts a couple of times then setting them aside to make a Hot August Nights T-Shirt Quilt. I've lived here 6 years now. Some of the shirts are printed two-sided. This might be the year!
