I think we all need to claim this quote ROFLMBO "Strength is the capacity to break a chocolate bar into four pieces with your bare hands--and then eat just one of the pieces." (Judith Viorst (1931-) US writer and poet). I'm afraid I'm not that strong yet.

LOL =3D) amy in CNY--me either...

I don't think I even WANT to be that strong! LOL

Are we confusing 'strength' with 'stupidity'? I mean, why break the chocolate into pieces in the first place? My front teeth work just fine.

Oh. I thought that was the healthiest way to eat a chocolate bar.

You pinch off a small piece and eat it. Then go back later and repeat. Etc. Until the whole candy bar is gone. That way, it's not like you ate a *whole* candy bar or anything. The only saturated fat-grams that "count" are the ones you consumed with the first pinch of the chololcate bar.

Another healthy alternative is to put the bar on top of the refrigerator for a while. Saturated fat grams are afraid of heights and will jump off.

I originally heard this phenomenon was true of calories. So I figure the same is true of fat grams.

Sounds somewhat like my house, Joanna. Except I can't get DH to leave alone the goodies I "hide" if he sees it, he eats it. sigh I also can eat just a bit each day or so and have goodies last a long time. Much better for me that way. But DH seems to think if it is there it needs to be eaten now, so I don't often have stuff around.

I have to agree with you on this, Karen.
