As a senior citizen was driving down the freeway, his car phone rang. Answering, he heard his wife's voice urgently warning him, "Herman, I just heard on the news that there's a car going the wrong way on Interstate 77. Please be careful!"

"Hell," said Herman, "It's not just one car. It's hundreds of them!"

When I die, I want to go peacefully in my sleep like my grandfather and not screaming in terror like his passengers.

No kidding! It happens to me when I'm sort of waking up from a vivid dream. I'll try to communicate with DH - he wakes up and figures out that I'm dreaming and says "lay down, Cindy". Sometimes it takes me 30 seconds and a repeated command from him to realize that I'm in lala land and that the insects that I see crawling on my pillow aren't real and that my DH doesn't have to wake up and kill them!!!

A friend of mine, in his 50's now, has a reputation for falling asleep at the wheel. Years ago, he took the wheel while his wife and some adult children plus some grandkids all took a nap. At some point, he decided he'd better pull over because he was too sleepy himself. His grand-daughter sort of woke, just enough to see her grandfather snoring away behind the wheel. Her screams woke up everyone in the rest area, because she thought they were still moving down the highway and, well, you know.....
