Trouble sending

When you repeat yourself I thought it meant you really REALLY mean it.

Saw the post about your current household situation, and I'm wondering which of your "loved ones" recommended the paint which makes you lose your voice. I think you should pull out a little quilting project and get busy on that, B-fly; you know what a therapy session quilting can be. And if you can't get to the current stash: time to go Shopping!!! (There's method to this madness.) No excuses, now! What's the projected Finish date on the house, including B-fly studio? I wanna' see!!! ;-P

*I* got to chose ALL of them, with the guys okaying the colors, except for DS's room (he chose brilliant blue and its perfect :) Seems like the paint from Lowe's bothers me and that from Ace Hardware doesn't. Go figure. That's ok-----I haven't had to cook/clean/etc for almost 2 weeks now :) And since my left foot is in DasDe Boot, DH and I went to the library again today and I brought an absolute armload of books home, including Quilting ones that I hadn't seen yet :) Librarian said the limit was 50--but we couldn't carry that many..next time we take a bigger tote as DH's filled this one. DH is on limited activity cause of the hernia so we both are reading a LOT right now..other than that, he's doing ok, coming outta a flare. Thanks for asking.

Oh my goodness, thank you, B'fly. Katrina took out our Ace Hardware and that is The Only acceptable place to buy paint around here. (Around here being within 40 miles, you know.) Well. It was. Somehow, they manage to supply my sweetheart with a colormatch and quality of paint that he likes. Just a conservative guess, but our closest Ace got washed with about 20 feet of wave and they haven't limped back into operation just yet. Miss them terribly. DH had asked me to see where the closest Ace was in Alabama. I need to go find one but had forgotten. Thanks for the memory. Polly

We have been in the local ACE Hardware so much since we bought this place, that they know us by our names! Even the newest check-out gal asked DS if he came in every day. He replied only on my days off--its housework not homework. She giggled--as teens oft do. Made his day. These ppl even ask how the latest project is going and if we need any more advice or help getting it done. Our painter use to work there until he struck out on his own :) Makes me wanna hold a house-warming party just for the ACE ppl since they have been such a part of getting this place back into shape.
