intrude? on what would you be intruding? i'm online wasting time when i could be doing something here like uh, let me think.... cleaning, washing laundry, vacuming, dishes ,ewwwww to all of those. nope you'd not be intruding on anything if i'm online. if by the smallest of chances i'm trying to write an email to some idiot at some govt dept about some idiotic problem, i'd let ya know. doesnt ever take me that long to try and be painfully nice to them while getting my point across, lol. nope you'd not be intruding. we are doing the virtual swap so some of you who have eq can learn how to use it and start designing stuff the easy fun way. so holler at me eh. even if i look offline, sometimes i'm online and forget to set it so i look online, lol. nevertheless i will respond if msg'd and i'm there. :) just holler!! jeanne

hey, sally. are you using any instant messengers? i use yahoo and quite of few others do too. in yahoo msg'r we can have a multi person conversation and use voice if you have speakers and headset. that said, my puter is still out of sound til i take the labourious time to select enough files to burn to one CD at a time so i can then change my old to new harddrive and get some sound back, thats the plan/hope at anyrate. right now seems my voice goes out but i still cant hear, oh well. so i sometimes talk and others in the convo type to me, lol. hey, works for me on the days i dont feel like typing, lol. so i'm nzlstar on yahoo msg'r. you can add me if you've got it or go get it and then add me as a contact and we'll getcha thru lesson 1 in no time at all. heck you'll be in first grade before ya know it, lol. see ya, jeanne

only MSN and then not with 'sound'

Sailed thro lesson 1 and lesson 2, but had a prob at the end of lesson two where you named the quilt and then go on to resizing the patch. and then print out.

It named the quilt beautifully, but every time I got to the print preview the name had disappeared, and when I went into the sketchbook it had saved another un-named copy. Out of about 20 tried it got it right once and I triumphantly printed it. Then the ink ran out on the printer and DH hasn't got round to getting a new spare in.

Am giving up and going to bed. Not sure what the resizing did as I was so frustrated I gave up before checking it!

Going to bed now - exhausted

Not sure what went wrong with this, but when you resized the block did you give the quilt a new name - like "Flower garden small" and "Flower garden

1inch"?

It isn't clear from the book, but if I didn't give the resized quilt a new name I got "unnamed" too.

If you save the SAME (ie. exactly the same for colour, size, etc) quilt more than once you should be asked by the program if this is what you want to do - and it usually isn't.
