A new layout

I finally moved into my new scraproom (should have taken pictures before I messed it all up LOL) and I managed to get one layout done. Then my youngest came in and asked why I never put the pictures he takes on any layouts so........I printed them up (wallet size since his little camera is like a

1.3 megapixel) and together we made a little Thanksgiving album. (Don't laugh at the turkey, I drew it freehand and he cut it out and put it together). We still need to finish it up tomorrow but he is thrilled and says he is going to scrap with me all the time........ahhhhhhhhh!

I think it's so cute to give a little one a camera. For my 3yo daughter's recent birthday party, I purchased a disposable camera and let her photograph whatever she wanted. She actually did a pretty good job! So I'm sure she'll be making her own albums by kindergarten. :-) In the mean time, she'll get a layout dedicated to her very first photo shoot.

I love your son's scrapbook. It is something I'm sure he'll cherish for years to come. Not to mention the time "hanging out with mom"

It's a cute turkey! :-) A whole lot better than any turkey I would draw. Love the dance LO...very classy.

The dance layout is really pretty. Love the colors.

The turkey is cute and so is your son's book. I bet he will enjoy showing it off. It is so great that we can get our kids involved in scrapbooking too.

When my teenage son was a Cub Scout they had to do this photography project to earn an arrow. I called the merit badge guy from Boy Scouts and he came and taught them (and me) all kinds of things about taking pictures. That was my sons first attempt at age 8...today my son works for that guy and that poor guy works for me 7 days a week. You never know it may open a career path for her or she could snap up a great guy in the future.

Great turkey...that's so cute. What a great way to spend time with the kids. I have some pictures that my 3 year old nephew took using my camera..I held it up for him, then he pointed and pushed the button. I want to make a "Budding Photographer" page for his book..can't wait.

TFS!!
