AD: 40-50% off Blue Light Specials at Ma Vinci's are coming down!

Just wanted to give you guys a heads up that I'll be taking the Blue Lights down in the next day or two, so if you've been meaning to take advantage of these, better do it! I know, it always takes me longer than I think it will to get them done, but I did want to warn ya! I'm looking at inventory and trying to decide whether they're coming down completely or changing. Meanwhile, don't forget about all the stuff on the clearance page, those items have gotta go!

Happy stamping and scrapping, y'all!

Pardon me but that is a really horribly done web site. With it looking like that I would never trust it and buy something from it.

It blows me away at businesses that have poorly done web sites that make it look like they are running a thrift store of something and then expect people buy from them.

For god sake people pay someone to do a decent site, the money you spend will be well worth it. It gives people peace of mind to see something that doesn't look like it was put together by a 2 year old.

From what I gather, Robert, they have been doing quite well for themselves despite the way the site looks. It may be that they prefer to keep the prices down to hiring a pro. I understand your reaction as I happen to share it, but perosnally I think such comments would be best sent directly to the site owner.

I've seen MUCH worse websites than that! It looks okay to me... not everyone wants to pay five thousand dollars for their website when they can make something that works themselves even if it's not as flashy.

Actually, it doesn't cost $5000 to do a decent web site. Alls it takes is a little time and a little understand of what makes a good web site. The first thing to do is not clutter it with so much junk on the opening page that people scratch their heads and wonder what to do. The next is to not use font's that are hard to read.

Designing a decent web site isn't hard, you just have to want to do it. There are hundreds of thousands of good sites out there to see what does and what doesn't work. If they can put that mess together then they can also do it right.

As I have said I won't shop online with any site that doesn't look like it can be trusted and an ugly, hard to navigate and sloppy site is one I wouldn't touch I don't care what their prices are. I am not alone, they are loosing a lot of business because of how their site looks. There have been hundreds of studies that prove what does and doesn't work for sites where one is expected to shop.
