any more new swaps coming up??

Question

I would like to know if there is any more new swaps coming up. I would "love" to do the halloween basket gift idea and also the christmas tag. For this halloween gift idea - just get a 2-qt container with a lid and stuff that box with halloween things (can be halloween dish towel, cookie cutters, small halloween layout, halloween stickers and you name it as long it have something to do with halloween stuffs). Also for that christmas tag - decorate the tag using rubber stamp, sticker, die cuts or anything that is related to scrapbook as long it's christmas theme. I know it's kinda of early but hey give you all some ideas. What do you think? Marcie

Both sound like great ideas to me. I like the halloween container idea also. What you buy a container and decorate it for each person or you send in one container filled with halloween goodies. I'm interested. If you host please let me know.

Just fill the container up with halloween goodies (just stuff that box full!!). That way you can use the container for something else. I have host this before several years ago and it was fun. In the past, I had done the container filled up with halloween goodies, kitchen goodies, candle goodies & christmas goodies. This will be ONE on ONE "surprise" container swap. Marcie

sounds cute but I don't celebrate halloween, but if it was "fall" or thanksgiving I'd do it!... :D

I was thinking of a clipboard swap... you know those plain brown clipboards... well people are altering them now and I've seen them at big lots for a dollar! Everyone does one really nice (remember it's decoration) and sends to a random person... kewl huh?

I thought there was some discussion about a shape eyelet swap a while back. I looked up info on eyelet swaps on PaperCrafts. This is how the one for 6 participants I found went:

"Make up 6 baggies of 16 SHAPED eyelets, can be any combination of 16, as long as there are 4 of each (in case someone wants to use 4 on a card) Any shaped eyelet is acceptable (just not the traditional round ones). Let's have some fun with this, be creative. You may use NEW eyelets you already have, as long as they are in sets of 4. I am thinking of things like ghosts, snowmen, flowers, bunnies...etc. Enclose a SASE for the return trip."
