Anyone ever used ScrapbookPictures?

I was reading a class list on BigPictureScrapbooking, and this website was recommended by Stacey Julian. I see they offer a ton of sizes and finishes (my honey happens to love the metallic finishes), including little 2 x 2 and 12 x 12. Just curious-anyone ever used them? Kathy

A lot of gals over on the 2Peas message board rave about this service! =) Personally, I haven't tried them since they first opened, back when I still had dial-up. When it took me 20 minutes to upload one photo, I moved back to Winkflash. I may have to try them again now that I have high-speed - I love some of their borders and I always wanted to try that metallic finish!

Some of the scrappers in my local meet-up have used the service and seem to be pleased. If I remember correctly, you can add text to the pictures too.

Hi, Kathy.

They are on the pricey side but if I need something in a special size or want to add some cool border effect I use them. The quality is good and the shipping enevelop is very sturdy. I definitely would recommend them for the special finishes and sizes. I don't use them every day though since I print LOTS of photos.

Thanks for the responses everyone. I'm intrigued they offer a 12 x 12 size, and I think I'll give them a whirl. I see they are pricier than the norm, but we also have had some of our Hawaii pictures printed out, and I'm not happy with the results. DH had one particular picture of a lighthouse professionally printed and blown up-on metallic paper no less-and I must say the results were spectacular. So I think I'll upload a few of the Hawaii pictures and see how they compare. I'll drop a note when I get 'em back.

I have used them for 3x3 prints for a flirty purse album I was making. I was very pleased with the quality of the photos. The price for a 12x12 is higher than I am use to paying so I haven't tried that size.

and they do a wonderful job. They will even print out one of your layouts on three different papers/cardstock that they use so you know what to expect and can chose the product that you like best. It is free but there is a $5 charge for shipping.

I couldn't be happier with their service, I usually wait until I have 25-30 layouts since it is a flat $5 shipping fee, but last time I sent 60 layouts and finished 3 albums! Here is their price list, I ordered the 12x12 glossy cardstock.
