Wow - it's so fun to see what see what everyone is doing - and I was looking at all the cards I've made and feeling a real sense of progress! Good job everyone!
So - Lynne and I were trading ideas and there are SO many good ones for an extra chellenge, that I am gonna throw caution to the wind and give you 2 to choose from. You can do one, the other, or try for both. Or, non at all. It's all about the fun!
1) Hidden Treasures - Dig through your craft stuff and find that tool or accessory that you just haven't used in ages. You bought it because it looked cool, but the right project hasn't come along, or the inspiration hasn't been there....well - now is the time!!! It could be a fastonator, a crop-a-dile, a template, chalks, watercolor crayons, a stamp set you haven't mounted or put ink on yet, or even those dreaded decorative edge scissors that we all used to use on everything and now don't go near! And, if you need some inspiration - try to think of ways to use it in a new way - look online, there are tons of galleries, tips and tutorials for almost anything. See how others have used it. And I bet you'll end up with a new favorite all over again! Just tell us what tool you used, we'll be curious!
2) Out of the box - try making cards that aren't a basic rectangle! Here is a cute link for an idea -Jessica
