Basic Grey Notch Tool

I saw this in the new issue of Scrapbook Answers. Has anyone tried it out yet? It looks like you could do some interesting things with it. I may just have to get one.

I was up in Rogers, AR a couple of days ago and stopped at the scrapbook store there, called Signed, Sealed and Delivered. The lady demoed the Basic Grey Notch tool and the new EK success tag maker. I tried the Basic Grey tool and it was easy to use. It can make a variety of cuts, but I am not sure that it is actually worth the money. As for the tag maker, I bought the tags but all the tag maker does is to squish the two parts together. I want to try doing that with something else I already own first. I was thinking that if I can squish bottle caps with my sizzix, then I can squsih tags with it too. Right?

Thanks for the info M-C. I was thinking it would be a good way to make closures on the boxes I make to put my cards in. I'll have to see if one of the lss near me has one I can tryout. I haven't seen the EK Success tag maker yet.

I haven't tried squishing bottle caps with my sizzix. How do you do it?
