Scrapbook! will be the focus of a new class at JASA Van Cortlandt Senior Center, 3880 Sedgwick Ave. Learn how to design and make your own in three sessions, beginning July 11th and continuing on Tuesday, July 18th and 25th at 1:00 PM. Lora Frisch, center member, who is an avid craftsperson will lead this workshop. Bring photos, memorabilia such as old tickets, buttons, news and magazine articles. Easy to make albums will be demonstrated.

Just a note for those of you who don't live in NY State or NY City, The Bronx is a borough of NYC.
At least I know if I want to take the Tappan Zee & Throggs Neck to the Bronx there is a scrapbooking group in the Bronx.

There is only one Bronx. The Van Cortlandt Senior Center is in the NW Bronx, south of Van Cortlandt Park. Not too much in scrapbook supplies locally. On Broadway south of 231 St. in Lot-Less and they have some items. Target on 225 St. has more. Yes, we have a poltical association with NYC and NYS.
Because this message board reaches Non-New Yorkers, I felt an explaination was necessary as not everyone knows "The Bronx"

I'm in California and I know "The Bronx". I did appreciate your explanation though as there just might be someone who didn't know.

Larry mentioned to me that the Yankees are "the bronx bombers" so I guess I misspoke but I did think of the rare one who doesn't know what the bronx is.
