Cards, Layout, and 1 Craftroom pic Uploaded

I have been busy in my craft room the last several days. Take a look at some of the projects I have made. I have also uploaded a picture of my ribbon organizer. I will post more pictures of my room this week (I promise) right now it looks like a storm came through the place.

Mummy - for the mummy I took a card and wrapped in gauze. Saw this idea in an old Paper Crafts magazine that I had. Then glued googlie eyes onto him. He's cute. Inside reads: What is a mummy's favorite type of Music. Flip over for answer. Answer: Wrap Music

Halloween 2006 Layout Card I blocked out the pictures because they are my sister's friends and I don't have permission from their parents to post their pictures on the internet. I was brave with this layout. I always wanted to mix pattern paper or solid paper and pattern paper on one layout. I got brave and did half the layout in pattern paper and the other in solid black. I am pleased with this layout. The bottom piece (the grave stones and ghost) on page one was a full 12x12 sheet of paper that I cut them out of and glued onto my page. All paper except for the black cs is from American Traditional Designs. I am very pleased I remembered to journal!!! I did that first before I even printed the pictures.

Ribbon Organization: DH bought the wall hanger for me at Home Depot. Its great for holding ribbon. I purchased clips to hang the lose ribbon/fibers that I had on cards. This works great. Then I had loose ribbon/fibers that I didn't know what to do with so I placed them in bags and put them in this recycled pickle jar (after in aired out for several several days).

Ooppps I fogot one

I used the cuttlebug to emboss the snowflakes on the card, then I chalked them. I'm not sure about this card if I like it or not. Its alright.

I love the Scottish dog card! I like your Halloween lo's too. I love what you did with breaking the paper up :) And I think your snowflake card is excellent. Love how you chalked the snowflakes.

Love your cards, Chrissy! Especially the spooky house. Is it done with a Cricut? I like your embossed snowflake card, too. I'd been leaning towards a Cricut, but now I wonder if what I need is a Cuttlebug... Great idea for ribbon storage, too. I have that same shelf from Home Depot, except mine holds woodmounted rubber stamps. Each shelf holds 4 rows of stamps upright. I try to put taller stamps in back and short ones in front, but I still have to get up and peer into a shelf sometimes to find what I want. Someday I'll find something better, then those shelves will hold ribbons and stamppads. Looking like a storm aftermath is my craft room on a *good* day. Usually it looks like a tornado and a feline massacre. (Though if I rattle the treat box, they'll all come miraculously back to life!) Keep up the great work!

I love that card. It's so cute. But then again, I love snow and snowmen. Is that a stamp for the snowman head. Chrissy, it really is cute. I think it's one of my favorites!!!

I think it looks cute, but if you're still not happy with it, try a snowflake brad in one of the corners around the snowman, or a ribbon knot in a corner around the snowman. But I think it looks cute. The chalking was a wonderful idea!

The spooky skyline was not made on the cricut. I used the Spooky Skyline wheel stamp from Stampin Up and I used Jolee embellishments for the haunted house. It was a basic simple card, not much time went into it but I like the end result.

Thank you everyone for your comments!

Chrissy you have inspired me. One more hour of housework and I can play without guilt (dinner is in the slow cooker).

I love your stuff.

I can officially say I scraplifted your mummy card. I was fishing through our first aid box looking for gauze when larry looked at me with the google eyes next to me and said "I'm not gonna ask." Thanks for the laughs. Especially when he said "is nothing sacred?" NO!!!!

Thanks for the inspiration.

Your Halloween pages turned out great. I love the tombstones on the first page. Love the Mummy card also! I will have to make one for my neices and nephews.

Keep up the good work. You won't be a procrastinator any more. LOL!
