It's 11:30 p.m. here in NY, just got home. My family and I want to thank EVERYONE for their prayers and support over the last few days. My dad is home and doing well. He is weak from chemo but that's nothing out of the ordinary. In 3 -4 weeks he will have to return the hospital for another weeks stay for 24 hour chemo and hopefully that will be his last treatment, we are praying. My DH is doing as good as my dad is unfortuantly. About 3 years ago DH had a kidney and pancrease transplant. Unfortunatly the kidney has failed and rejected. The doctors are give him meds to helpfuly safe the kindey. We are hoping and praying the meds will do their job. I return to work Monday, but may have to take time off again for DH. My job has to understand my family comes first. Honestly at this moment in time my job is my least concern. I love my job and all but its not my first priority. I was able to get some sleep today, I'm not as tired. But I'm sure tired of being in that car. Need to hire a chauffer. LOL! Sure would be nice. I will be going to the hospital tomorow to see Jeff. I try to rotate my days between my dad and Jeff. Yesterday was Dad's b-day so we had a party for him tonight which was great because my Uncle was here from New Hampshire which was great because we seldomly get to see him. It was nice to be with family but at the same time felt odd that Jeff (my DH) wasn't there. Please continue to keep my Dad (Don) and my DH (Jeff) in your thoughts and prayers. Everyone remember to hug or call one of your loved ones today to let them know you care and you love them.
