Christmas CDs done

It was fun! I'm tempted to make CD calenders for everyone instead of cards, but they'd cost too much to post since they're not a standard rectangle :(

If you want to peep, they're in my Webshots...

Beautiful!!! Karen, You come up with some of the best ideas. I never would have thought of using a punch and letting the cd shine through. Can't wait to get one in the swap. Thanks for sharing. Now to get to work on mine.... Sandy

John gave me some old coloured CDs and they were so pretty it was a shame to cover them ALL up! Hence the punches :)

If you made them with flat embellishments couldn't you send them in a "personal pan pizza box" from pizza hut?

just a thought.

I didn't join the swap put what a great idea! Question though how are you going to "connect" (not sure if thats the right word) all of the months (CD's together) or are they going to be loose. Curious because if I can get 12 (I have 1 that I know of) old CD's this is a neat Christmas Gift idea.

They're just going to be loose... if you've got a super-strong punchy thing you might be able to bore a hole in the CDs to put them on a ring, but we're not attempting that... they're made to be displayed on a little plate stand, or you could stick magnets on the back to put them on the fridge...

The crop-s-dile will put a hole in a cd with no problem. just don't do it real close to the edge - at least 1/4" back or a little more. Sandy
