Closing of a Local SS

One of my local SS is closing up shop this month. They can no longer compete with the big stores in our area. I'm really disappointed. This one is like three miles from my house. Anyways if there's something in particular any of you are looking for let me know and I'll see if she's got it. She be selling all of her paper rack as well, anything basically that's not nailed down. Tomorrow everything will be 30% off. I'm sure as the supply dwindles it'll go down even more. I know she has a lot of SEI and K&C, and vellums for all you floozies, not naming any names.

Why does this sale have to happen when I have to be good! I'd love to buy some of her racks but with my having to move again in 4 months it does seem rather silly! I'll have to pass *ouch it hurts to say that* on your kind offer this time!

Thanks Jessie and sorry to hear that your closest store is closing down. I expect that we will hear of more stores having that problem in the near future.

I too wouldn't mind another paper rack, since Dave is slacken.....and hasn't made mine yet. What am I gonna do with that boy. (breaking out the whips) I plan on popping in tomorrow on my lunch break....I just happen to be like across the street from them, just to see what all she's got in there right now. I haven't been in since before Thanksgiving. I was good through the holidays. Couldn't really afford to be bad. I'll check it out. I'm not sure what she's asking on the racks yet. SHe should have pricing posted tomorrow I believe. We'll see. :(

Ugh! A store within a few hours is closing and it would have to be at a time when there is no chance for me to go up there and check it out.

It would be closing when I have to be fairly good. Do you know how long the store is staying open? And yes, I'm going to admit that I am a FLASS! I get all giddy thinking about fibers and embellishments and cardstock and vellum and paper and stickers and...oh I want it all! Sometimes I feel like an old Pokemon lover "gotta have 'em all!" LOL

Well, considering the eyelet thread way up above this one, sounds like eyelets would be good for anybody here! LOL I'm going to have to pass on the sale though. I really really really REALLY have to be good this month. DH's check was way shorter than we've been used to due to a company screw-up in December. Long story....but it means I really have to be good. :-(
