Elephant Dung Paper Scrapbooks - It's True!!!!

Well what do you know? Paper made of s*it. I wonder how they do that. Seems my household has an abundance of that. It's not elephanty, but..........hey maybe there's some $$$$ to be made in all my crap afterall.

My Mom and I were in the Art store in LR early last year shopping. We were almost done and were in the handmade paper area when I saw a stack of brown paper. "Look Mom, that looks like a pile of elephant dooo!" Well on closer inspection (errr that is we read the label on the back of the paper) it was made out of elephant doo-doo. Mom bought some just to say she had a sheet of elephant doo! ROFL If it had been a color besides brown I might have bought some meself!

I'm so glad to hear and see that the elephant dooo "business" is expanding to include colored dooo paper! BTW are we talking Asian or African elephant dooo. And given that one elephant has bigger ears than the other does one do more dooo than the other? Just wondering more to profit from on one continent rather than on the other. ;)~

The African Ellies are much larger than the Asian, so they must poo more I should think! So please support our African Ellies, they doo doo their best for you! LOL Here's something that may gross you guys out: Tradition Zulu huts are MADE from all kinds animal poo including Elephants! Cow poo is also used to make fire. Works wonderfully :PPPP

I don't want to think about what the factory smells like that produces elephant poo-poo paper! Somehow, I can't see my 6 yr old or 3 yr old being facinated by elephant poo-poo paper. LOL

I knew they made sculptures out of elephant doo...I thought it was a neat way for zoo's and the like to make more money. I never knew they could make paper out of it! hmmm

The things people sell, I saw a woman on tv that sells her dog poop! People e-mail , or mail her requeting a poo-o-gram to be sent to someone ( usually someone they do not like) and she packages it in sealed plastic baggies and then put a lable with a saying on it. It kind of takes the place of the back of poo on your doorstep I guess. Boy howdy, If I had known there was money in doogy doo I would have been selling it for years! My 3 dogs produce enough to keep me in style...LOL

That reminds me of the "animal crappers" I bought for my mom not too many years ago... They were made of ZooDoo and shaped like animal crackers... Mom thought they were hilarious. Of course i've not been able to find them since Garden.com went under, but they were a great gag gift and actually were usable :)

A friend of mine is an elephant expert, living in Africa at the moment, and he purchased me some handmade elephant dung paper and envelopes for a gift a few years ago. You would have to know him to understand why he would do this, but I got a kick out of it. I have not used it, just seem to keep moving it from one place to another, but someone is out there making it and selling it!
